We are happy to accept your international driving permit if you are licensed in another country.

Because we put all of our members on our insurance policy, we must review an official driving record for the last three years for all applicants.

Although we can get these records for drivers licensed in the USA, we do not have access to foreign records. You must contact the agency that issued your license so they can direct you on how to obtain this information.

* All documents must include the name of the applicant.
* Please make sure the document(s) you obtain make a statement about your driving history, and not just that you have a valid license.
* If you obtain records that are not in English, you must supply a notarized or official English translation.

This can be challenging for some countries; get your driving record before leaving home, if possible. If you are already in the US, a family member at home may be able to get this record on your behalf.

Information for obtaining records for some countries is below. If you have information you'd like to share about obtaining records from other countries, please email us and we will post it here.

When you have your record, please email it (with the subject "CityWheels International Documents") to info@myCityWheels.com, fax it to 216.916.7326, or bring it to our office.

Please include a copy of your Driver's License and
your International Driving Permit, too.
