To qualify, CityWheels Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old (if you are between 18-20, see Additional Qualifications)
- If you are an international driver, Click Here to find out how to first obtain your motor vehicle record.
- Qualify for our insurance coverage (see Driving Record below)
- Complete an Online Orientation
- Approve the Membership Agreement
Driving Record
- No alcohol-related violations in the last seven years.
- No more than two minor moving violations within the last three years
- No major violations or at-fault accidents in the past three
years
Major violations include:- excessive speeding (20+ mph over the limit);
- operating to endanger or reckless driving;
- leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage;
- operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license; or
- school bus stopping-flag violation.

All drivers must approve the CityWheels Membership Agreement. Among other provisions, the Agreement requires members to notify CityWheels immediately should they become non-compliant with any of these qualifications.
